AURELIO MOJONERO CHOQUE

Aure ToursI was born on September 25th, 1967 in San Sebastian (Cusco). My parents are Justino Choque and Simeona Mojonero, both of whom I am very proud of, for they have always been the ones who gave me support, encouragement, and guidance until achieving all and everything that I am.
I feel even prouder to be born in this beautiful land of the Inkas known as “Qosqo”, which is the true and original Quechua name of “Cusco” and means “Centre (or navel [umbilicus]) of the World.”
Throughout the trajectory of my career in Tourism, I have worked for different travel and tourism agencies as well as in different Peruvian cities such as Arequipa, Puno, Nazca, but especially in the city of Cusco where I currently direct and carry out field-work for this company. 
Back in the 1990s I had the opportunity –mostly thanks to support provided by my family- of traveling to Europe. I got to know a good number of European cities, but for the most part I took up residence for some years in Berlin, Germany, where I was able to learn the German language.  I carried out intensive German language courses as well as 2 academic semesters at Humboldt University plus conducting studies in the Intakt Institute of Berlin as a commercial assistant. Berlin is a multicultural city, where I made friends with people from different countries around the world and finally came to know and understand the character, mentality, purposes, and goals that each one drew up for themselves. Nowadays I am working in Cusco as tour guide for “Aure Tours” in the following languages: Spanish, English, French and German.
